Trupti Agarwal is a dynamic leader, a passionate educationist, and a gracious philanthropist. She is at the helm of the Vishwakarma Group of Schools in Pune. Under her leadership, Seven schools are growing to become iconic names in the education industry, with multiple awards and recognitions in their arsenal.

She is leading schools serving different economic and social strata of the society with a ambition that superior quality of education is the fundamental right of all children. While the Vishwakarma University boasts of prestigious recognitions, stature and industry connections, and the Wisdom World Schools consistently boast of academic excellence, she has a soft spot for Vishwakarma Vidyalaya, a school for children from humble backgrounds. During the pandemic, true to her mission, she made sure that students weren’t deprived of access to education by personally making over 300 computers available to them.

As the trustee of the famous Mahalaxmi Mandir in Sarasbaug, Pune, she is also actively involved in various cultural and philanthropic activities like organizing chanting of Shree Sukt by 15,000 school children during the Navratri Festival and mobilizing tree plantation drives for school students. Trupti Agarwal’s dedication to the community is inspiring and she dreams of inculcating values in young minds, so as to mould ethically responsible individuals and citizens of tomorrow.

“Education is not a privilege. It is a basic right and I have dedicated my life to making education accessible to all strata of the society. This chasm became even more apparent during the pandemic. A lot of students from economically challenged backgrounds found it difficult to access education, which had suddenly shifted to the virtual space. We trained hundreds of teachers and donated over 300 computers in this period to make sure that the show goes on.”

“I believe that the days when academic excellence was the core focus of education are behind us. At the Vishwakarma Group of Schools, we believe in holistic education and our teachers lay emphasis on critical skills like problem-solving, social and emotional intelligence, collaborative learning and creative thinking. This is exactly the kind of education that will prepare students for the future.”
