Swasti Diwakar Shandilya, Director of Ideagully Products Innovations Private Ltd. She completed her schooling at Mayoor School Ajmer. In the year 2004, she took admission in Bachelor of architecture where she was honored with a gold medal in her degree. Now, She is a well-experienced architecture having field experience of 12 years.
In 2016, she started dreaming of having her own business which she brought into reality in July 2017. As we know almost all startups require a financial and extensive time investment, similar was in her case. This automatically implies that the risk factor was quite high. They needed a small workshop and a team of carpenters and fabricators to experiment and test their designs. Step by step they were able to achieve that and they experimented and installed their first wall bed in their residence, which they admire every single day. They had to make all this investment long before they got their first order. They got their first project in October 2017. In the beginning, they worked for their friends and friends of friends which gave them a lot of confidence. They kick-started their career with a boom and the journey seemed quite exciting to them, but soon after they started getting this feeling that few of their potential clients don’t understand the difference between a well-read professional and a merely skilled contractor who is ready to deliver just anything the client asks for, without actually adding any value to it. This was one of the most disappointing phases of their journey. However, they have found a solution to it. They like to work in a very positive vibe which helps them to bring out their best output. To achieve that they have started filtering the leads that they get, they talk to their clients and understand their needs and preferences. Only after that, they decide if working together would be a great idea or not. They don’t chase after every lead that they get instead, they consciously select the ones who understand and value the difference they can make in the project.
